An evil, evil time-waster

So I got up Saturday morning determined to blaze through all the chores and housework that have been criminally neglected due to the creation of my Second Life. In the virtual world there are no such things as "chores" or "housework," so it makes it that much harder to return to the real ones.

Nonetheless, I was determined. And I was completely derailed for far too long by an e-mail from Narc directing me to the Super 14 Jersey Swap from Adidas. It's slick marketing at its Flash-iest, though I totally don't understand what's behind the swapping sweaty jerseys. Really? Jocks do this? Why? I mean, if this were a Falcon video, I would totally get it. But in real life... not so much.

But the evil time-wasting began upon a visit to Square Hippies, which is where Narc discovered a link to the Jersey Swap site. I did eventually get all the chores done. But it wasn't for lack of distraction. Square Hippies is an evil, evil site. Go on, take a look. Wallow in the evil. (I totally concur with his Matthew Fox post.)

And no, I don't know who Ali Williams is. But yes, I did print out his poster. And watch him in Slo-Mo Replay. Because I'm superficial like that and, after eventually getting my chores done, I earned the reward.
